Hoe kunt u cookies verwijderen?
De meeste cookies hebben een vervaltermijn. Als een vervaltermijn is ingesteld, wordt het cookie automatisch verwijderd wanneer deze termijn verstrijkt. Worden de verzamelde gegevens naar het buitenland verzonden?
Bij een aantal cookies die worden gebruikt, worden de verzamelde gegevens verzonden naar de VS. De desbetreffende cookieleveranciers waren in het bezit van een Privacy Shield certificaat. We zijn echter bekend met de uitspraak van het Hof van Justitie van de Europese Unie van 16 juli 2020 met gevolgen voor de doorgifte van persoonsgegevens aan Amerikaanse cookieleveranciers. We zijn momenteel aan het onderzoeken hoe we dit het beste kunnen oplossen. We vinden uw privacy belangrijk en proberen er alles aan te doen om tot een passende oplossing te komen. De data van andere cookies die VelopA gebruikt, wordt uitsluitend verzonden naar landen die een adequaat beschermingsniveau hebben als het om uw privacy gaat. In sommige landen geldt de AVG ook (Duitsland en Ierland), voor andere landen (Israël en het VK) heeft de Europese Commissie voor die landen een zogenaamd adequaatheidsbesluit genomen. Welke privacyrechten heeft u?
U heeft het recht om ons te vragen om uw eigen persoonsgegevens te mogen inzien. Als daartoe aanleiding bestaat, kunt u ons ook verzoeken om aanvulling van uw persoonsgegevens of om het wijzigen van onjuistheden. Daarnaast heeft u het recht om te vragen om uw persoonsgegevens te wissen of het gebruik van uw persoonsgegevens te beperken. Ook kunt u bij ons bezwaar maken tegen het verzamelen en gebruiken van uw gegevens of een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Tot slot kunt u ons verzoeken om verkrijging van uw persoonsgegevens of overdracht van die gegevens aan een ander.

Wat doen de cookies van Google Analytics en hoe is mijn privacy beschermd?
Via onze website worden in ieder geval cookies geplaatst van het Amerikaanse bedrijf Google, als deel van de “Analytics”-dienst. Wij gebruiken deze dienst om bij te houden en rapportages te krijgen over hoe bezoekers de website gebruiken. Met deze informatie kunnen wij onze website optimaliseren en de gebruikservaring van bezoekers verbeteren.
De cookies worden gebruikt om informatie op te slaan, zoals wanneer het huidige bezoek plaatsvond, of de bezoeker al eerder op de site is geweest en welke site de bezoeker naar de webpagina heeft verwezen. Daarnaast wordt uw IP-adres opgeslagen. Alle computers en andere apparaten die op het internet zijn aangesloten, hebben een uniek nummer toegewezen gekregen. Dit nummer wordt internetprotocoladres (IP-adres) genoemd. Aangezien deze nummers vaak per land in blokken worden toegewezen, kan een IP-adres vaak worden gebruikt om het land, de provincie en de woonplaats te identificeren waar een computer verbinding maakt met internet. Google Analytics verzamelt het IP-adres van bezoekers om ons een idee te geven uit welk gebied in de wereld onze bezoekers komen. Deze methode wordt IP-geolocatie genoemd.
Om ervoor te zorgen dat de impact op uw privacy zo gering mogelijk is, hebben wij een aantal maatregelen genomen. Zo hebben wij er voor gekozen om ieder IP-adres te anonimiseren. Dit houdt in dat wij Google Analytics hebben opgedragen maar een deel van het IP-adres, in plaats van het volledige IP-adres, voor geolocatie te gebruiken. De laatste drie cijfers van het IP-adres van de bezoekers worden verwijderd. Dit gebeurt in tijdelijk geheugen, nog voordat het IP-adres door Google wordt opgeslagen.
Wij hebben Google daarnaast niet toegestaan de verkregen analytics-informatie te gebruiken voor andere Google-diensten. Ook hebben wij ‘gegevens delen’ met Google (voor eigen gebruik en voor advertentiedoeleinden) uitgezet. Tot slot hebben we een verwerkersovereenkomst met haar gesloten. Met deze maatregelen hebben wij voldaan aan de ‘Handleiding privacy vriendelijk instellen van Google Analytics’, opgesteld door de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Voor plaatsing van deze cookies hebben wij daarom geen toestemming van u nodig. Wij mogen uw persoonsgegevens voor het beschreven doel gebruiken, omdat wij daar een gerechtvaardigd belang bij hebben.
